traps-arent.gay contains explicit adult content and is strictly for people aged 18 and over.

How we verify age

When you first arrive, you’ll see an 18+ age gate asking you to confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to view adult material.

• Confirming your age sets a cookie (age_verified) that lets you browse without repeating the prompt for 30 days.
• The cookie is stored only in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data when you confirm.

Stricter regions (geo-block + extra confirmation)

In certain jurisdictions with specific adult-content laws, we apply an additional regional restriction or confirmation and may refuse entry. The current restricted regions are:

• United States — Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia
• United Kingdom (GB)

If your connection resolves to one of these regions, you will be asked to explicitly confirm your age before content is shown, even if a previous confirmation cookie exists. This check uses a lightweight, privacy-respecting geo lookup (your IP address is used only to determine your country/region and is not stored).

If the geo lookup fails or times out, the age gate still requires an explicit 18+ confirmation. We do not allow access based on a missing or failed geo check.

Legal basis

We operate under a strict 18+ only policy. Every story on the site features only adult characters. If you are under 18, or if you are in a jurisdiction where accessing adult content is illegal, please leave now.

Operator compliance

The site’s age-gate code is configured in site/config.toml under strictStates and strictCountries, and rendered by site/layouts/partials/age-gate.html and site/assets/js/age-gate.js. Changes to the restricted list require operator sign-off.
